# Getting started

> Sign up, fund your account, and start trading

## Create your account

    Go to [https://lute.gg/signup](https://lute.gg/signup) or from Lute's homepage click Launch. Choose Email (with verification) or Connect Wallet.

      You later have the option to connect socials (X, Discord, Telegram) for discovery and alerts via <a href="/app-guide/synapse">Lute Synapse</a>.

  <Step title="Verify">
    Verify your email via the authorization passcode sent to your email. If you signed up via wallet you will need to sign to verify.

  <Step title="Create Profile">
    Set your username, profile picture

  <Step title="Fund your account">
    Choose one of three options:

    * **Deposit**: Send supported tokens to your connected wallet address
    * **Import**: Import an existing funded wallet via private key
    * **Buy**: Use the on‑ramp partner in the Deposit / Buy flow to purchase supported tokens

  <Step title="Earn as you go">
    Invite friends and trade to earn.
